iMac V/s DellApple, being not too subtle when it comes to saying, “Our competitors couldn’t design an attractive-looking computer if their lives depended on it.”

Industrial designer fight!

But isn’t the Dell box expandable? How about we compare a penguin and a bald eagle? I mean, they’re both birds!

iMac has everything you’re looking for in a computer. Brains and beauty come together in this amazingly slim, desire-evoking, all-in-one design. With iMac, your workspace turns from cluttered desktop to brilliant display podium, instantly.

iMac sets new standards for elegance and power. It packs a complete, high-performance computer into its all-in-one design. With its anodized aluminum frame and glass cover, it’s striking to behold. The glossy widescreen display — available in 20- and 24-inch sizes — makes photos and movies come alive with rich color. The use of recyclable glass and aluminum makes iMac friendlier to the environment, too.

More than ever before, iMac allows you to live a digital life. Loaded with iLife, the new iMac makes it easy to turn your photos, movies, and music into blogs, podcasts, books, and calendars. All the other essentials are built in as well, including an iSight camera, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Just plug it in, turn it on, and you’re ready to create something great.

Completely redesigned, the included Apple Keyboard perfectly complements your iMac. Its ultrathin anodized aluminum enclosure features low-profile keys that provide a crisp, responsive feel. The keyboard includes special function keys for one-touch control of Mac features, and two USB 2.0 ports for high-speed connectivity to your iPod, Mighty Mouse, digital camera, and other devices.

With iMac, details make all the difference. For example, because it’s made from a single sheet of aluminum, you won’t see any seams or screws except for a single compartment on the bottom that provides easy access to the memory slots. The built-in iSight camera and microphone are integrated so neatly you barely notice they’re there — until you need them for a video chat.

iPhone UnlockedAlthough the iPhone will likely not be available officially in India for at least another year, the device may make its debut unofficially there in as little as a month. Shipments of the iPhone are already, reportedly, being smuggled to the country and unlocking techniques are being developed that would allow the phone to work on any network in India for a price of Rs 1,000 or Rs 1,500 (about $25-$35). "Unlocking the iPhone isn't tough," a dealer in central Delhi told Business Standard. In the grey markets of Palika Bazar or Sarojini Nagar, an entry-level iPhone will be available for Rs 30,000 (about $715).

The paper reports that a shop in south Delhi's Ansal Plaza recorded a whopping 50,000 inquiries since the iPhone's announcement in January. Meanwhile, competitors are lining up with their offerings, already available officially in India. "High Tech Computers (HTC), a leading provider of Microsoft Windows mobile-based smart phones, has launched an iPhone look-a-like, the HTC Touch. Globally too, Samsung has announced the launch of Ultra Smart F700 (to be launched in India this year). It will have a full touch-screen interface with a QWERTY keypad."
